STRATEGIC COMMUNITY PARTNERS
& UNITED WAY FOR SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN

Every student deserves a quality education. United Way of Southeastern Michigan is determined to make that sentiment a reality. In 2019, students from Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) and the city’s Grow Detroit’s Young Talent (GDYT) initiative experienced a glimpse of their future at the 3rd annual Summer Career Connections Fair held at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Students received the opportunity to interview with a multitude of employers as well participate in workshops such as brand building and goal setting.

Challenge: Timely completion was key for this project. PMG was tasked with consolidating a six month project in order to meet the needs of our partners. This particular role would call for clear communication strategies to help students from DPSCD and GDYT navigate their sessions and the campus successfully.

Solution: After a full week of non-stop effort and collaboration, we proudly produced a series of exhibition wayfinding, branded event signage, partner booth signage, registration badges and a variety of variable data including names and event schedules.
